The Academy of American Poets (http://www.poets.org) has a great page titled "Poems for Every Occasion," including Passion, Friendship, Love, Farewell, and more! Try it, at http://poets.org/page.php/prmID/59

The University of Toronto's Representative Poetry Online is another great source. All the poems/poets you've heard about, ought to be here. Those you haven't heard about, are here too, at http://rpo.library.utoronto.ca/display/index.cfm

Hope this helps!
