I need a help on the speech?

Question

I'm doing a speech that has to be 3 to 5 minutes long. I need help with the topic of the speech?
And I don't have any idea.. can anyone help me..because I want an interesting speech..

Always avoid any religious or political issues...Try something that most people know about and put much concern like China's booming economy, the swinging prices of oil internationally, the discovery of ice caps on Mars, the challenges and threats of the Avian Flu to humans, etc..Good Luck !

well you can talk about many interesting things.
important things that might stick in the audeinces mind,
like the importance of muliculturism and diversity, endangered animals, promoting and encouraging waste management. you might think they are boring, but trust me, they will be interesting once you actually put ur mind to it.
i hate speeches, because i'm so shy and i get stage fright, i started swaying and fidling and i stammer a lot. which is extremely bad, because it makes the speech boring.
as your teacher as told u over and over again (my teacher tells us like everyday about it) EYE CONTACT.
anyway, other hints is making the speech funny, and adding jokes, is very good, it keeps the audience intrigued.
i hope this helps. i'm actually good at speech writng (no boasting is done here) but i'm such a coward when it comes to talking!

select the topic as television/attraction of boys and girls/chocolates/punctuality/movies/ekta kapoor/contestants of great indian laughter challenge.

select any of the above topic .may be it'll create an interesting /funny environment
