this had made parents allow children as young as 13 to have boyfriends and girlfriends. But, America being a civilized country is still having a considerable number of unwanted pregnancies amongst girls who haven't got time to do even their school homework. I thought, Americans were more "aware" than any other nation.
And, why is it that despite all that dating and sex, people still get married only to divorce a few years later? And, why are there so many people who want to have kids without marrying the person who is giving them the child? Why are there so many broken homes and single mothers and fathers? And, even single people who have wasted their lives looking for "The One" by just having casual sex and several 6-month romances?
Times may have changed, but only in America do you find people who want "different things". The majority of the people in other countries prefer to marry only once in their life, and they also like to live with that one person throughout life.

This may be true to some but not all. I personally was not allowed to date until I was 16 and my children will not date until they are 16 either, parents who let their children date at 13 are just bad parents in my opinion, they are children and shouldn't be having boyfriends. And as for the divorce issue, divorce is high in many countries, many just don't want to work at a marriage which is what you have to do, I have been married for 23 years. I agree that some give up on marriage too easily , but most know when they have made a mistake and they get out of a bad marriage and that is very smart. You are stereotyping every American, not all of us are the same and I also have to say that most of us are very nice people.

Honestly I think the reason Americans have a high rate of divorce is because american women dont put up with their men cheating on them like some other countries do. American women demand respect from their husbands and will be brave enough to leave him if he disrespects her. I agree about the young girls having babies, and arent more than babies themselves. parents need to pay more attention to their daughters and teach them that their body is a gift given to their husband on their wedding night. However I dont think this problem is only in America. Look at Romania, small boys are having sex with adult men for money. I know that England is about the same as the US. Mexico is getting bad too. Its not just the U.S. In middle Eastern countries young girls age 13 are given to old men as wives. do you really think these young girls are happy with their lives? You are beign too general about americans.

b/c times have changed more women are having babies without getting married. marriage was once something people did for wealth not love. the rich married the rich to get richer not because they loved that person. and when you see so many people on the t.v like celebs getting divorce after a year, and your parents getting a divorce before you graduate why marry? more women are becoming independent and realizing they don't NEED men to take care of them they can do it all by themselves. marriage is over-rated.

Wow... over simplify much?

My parents have been married for thirty years...

My husband is the only person I've been with.

"The majority of the people in other countries prefer to marry only once in their life, and they also like to live with that one person throughout life."

And you need to do some research before you make a silly and baseless comment like that.

Yes, times are changing just in front of us. Man and Woman are becoming somehow equal.

Children nowadays aren't spending quality time with their parent, or the parent lives are in a mess. Children aren't having proper role models to measure themselves up to. They are left on themselves.-

People who choose the nickname "Hue" have a predisposition to gassiness and acne, and let their dogs mate at will. Not an attack on you personally, just your mind boggling generalization.
