I find it very strange. I'm not so sure if they're OK in their heads.

They're not OK in the head. Those are the same kinda idiots that hit on good guys' wives in bars when we're not around. Those guys have no sense of decency, and a total lack of respect for their wives. Why get married when your still going to go after every *** that walks by? Good guys are few and far between. Ironically, women seem to go after the guy who's grabbing *** in the bar, than the one who wants to raise a family. Sad but true! (not to quote MetallicA)

Simple, men and women like to feel special particulary between their own. So having a beautiful sexy wife makes them feel much more of a "man" and make others jealous... That's why some are call "trophy wives", because they're for show... to prove something to others in a physical manner. I guess it makes them feel superior in some way.
The wives flirting back... well, I don't think men enjoy that too much... and if they do I can only associate it with fantasy...

I would say it's because they wish for the approval of others! And if someone flirts with their wife, then that means they have their approval and in some way the other guy is wanting what he has! And to see her flirt back and then blow them off is like a form of control!
Mind games is basically all that it is about!

When someone pays attention to my spouse, it is flattering but, as soon as they know she's married, it has to stop and, if she paid the same attention back, as in flattering or as in "hits up" on her, both are in trouble.
I've had this happen and I've had other men seem to think they have a right to this as long as she likes it. Like "hello" am I chopped liver standing here?

They are cuckolds. Cuckolds get off on watching their wives dress sexy and flirt with other men. They get off even more to watch their wives have sex with other men.

I just don't know. A woman at work confided in me that her husband found it a turn on to send his wife out to sleep with other men and he would "check" her when she returned home. It is not for me to be the judge. It is not any of my business, but I just don't understand it at all. :(

I agree; it is totally strange. but i guess some of those guys are just shallow like that; it's like they crave for society's approval or something. I've even heard one guy say something like that about his wife's affair!

Once you have something you lose its value......you start taking your spouse for granted...then when you see others also checking out your spouse...it makes you a little alert...thats a thrill.....then to boast about their manliness....that she is in your control..
