some people just say things and mean no harm by it.
There is no way they can know how your sisters feel regarding this compliment or statement. To most people it probaby mena s a good thing.
everyone is different..
tell your sister these things writen here
always be there for them and always ask questions about these things so you will understand and learn from different ideas and opinions and the you can form your own ideas and opinions and values on them

i only have one sister, a lot older than me, too. i tend to frown at such a remark, mostly because I've been hearing stuff like this my whole life. My mom, sister and I look almost exactly alike, so I also hear those types of things too. i think that it would probably be worse for guys, mainly because most brothers lack a very good relationship, and because, in my experience, guys tend to want to be independant.

I laugh when they say that about me..My too older sisters would have a fit, especally the oldest. My little sis , she would smile if they said she was like me and I would to.

I think that is interesting too. I would just smile, unless you didn't like to be compared to that one particular sibling, for one reason or another. But this is usually said in a pleasant way, unless it wasn't.
