I have this computer game and I have stopped at a level where Kyle Katern the Jedi has to find his Light Saber from the ancient Jedi Temple. I have reached upto the Light Saber, but I can't grab it because a cage automatically shuts as soon as I get there.

I gonna tell you something...Be creative and try new ways. I had almost the same difficult problems in Star Wars Jedi Academy. If someone tells you the fun of the game is gone and you will say "this was only one time". Later you will ask again and again and again in other levels...The game isn't impossible

did you try to force push or pull the lightsaber off of where it is into your hand?
