Yes, very good. Very reliable, small, easy to ride, with decent rack area. I'm assuming your talking about the 220cc, and not the 4x4 300cc. They are both very well built, and last a long time. The 230 remained unchaged from 88-02, except for plastic, when in 2003 they bumped it to a 250cc. Common wear items are front tires and sometimes front springs/shocks. They are built tough, with no real weak points.

The 220 was rock solid. It is quick and fun to ride without having to spend a fortune. If you live anywhere cold you will need to alter the stock jetting a bit.

The 300 was heavy and needed more ground clearance, but otherwise was ok. The starters were crap on the 300 but nothing a few hundred bucks won't fix. Not the best cold weather starter which is probably why all the starters failed.

Yes. You can beat the crap out of them, they're dependable. It's not a race quad, but they're fun to ride. They have "just enough" power to plow snow and pull a small trailer.
