I love the internet as much as the next person but im talking about people reaching their 30s and older who spend all their time online, are these people lonely? are they addicted to the internet? dont they ever reach a point in their life where they want more? Im referring to these people who just spend all the time on the internet and it seems like they have no relationships outside it, would you be wary of these people and what are their reasons for this?

Personally I feel that as a society that some of us have lost our ability to socialize with others and then some become addicted because our neighbors are working, our family are gone too and It is not like it used to be back in earlier generations when people depended on each other. It is a strange thought that a machine is our best friend now.

Because the internet has EVERYTHING. Those people over 30s mainly they use the internet for pornography. Those people who uses internet everyday doesn't have social life. It could be because the world out there is full of people with ulterior motive...

There's a lot of stuff that you can do and find through the internet. Dowload music, games, software, interact with people all over the world, share videos, flirt..etc. Its cheap, fast and no much obligations. Best of all...it's fun!!!

Same reason some people are addicted to gambling, smoking, alcohol etc, it's a habit they derive some pleasure from and they do it because they can't see past the pleasure they get from it.
