So I'm 19, 5'5'' tall and 113 lb. I get carded to R movies, and I pay for under 13 at the musement parks. I'm in college and people still ask me what grade am I in. Between my 14 year old brother and I are hard to tell who is older. 15 and 16 years old boys have crushes on me. I LOOK TOOO YOUNG. I have a thin, soft dark hair color and am not planning to change it. I'm tan and not hairy at all. Small eyes, long lashes, medium size eyebrows, 32 B. I only wear makeup to cover up my pimples not so much into eyeliners and mascara, etc. Please tell me what I can do to look at least 18+ on my birthday in a week. What kind of a makeup do you think will work? If I make my eyebrows thiner do you think that will make a difference? Please give me any tips you can think of and I'll try to try them. Thanks

Oh honey. Why do you want to look older so much????Just be yourself and enjoy your age. You have your whole life ahead of you. Enjoy being young. Life goes by so fast. Don't rush and enjoy every moment. Being 19 is great. That's when you start dating and having serious relationships. I'd looove to be 19 again. It's the best time.

I know that you said you weren't into mascara and eyeliner but, for an "older" look.. I suggest you try like the smokey eye look, esp with having long eyelashes masacara is a big plus. darker greys for eyeshadow and you can throw in a bright color to accent a little bit to break up the dark monotony. however, if you go dark on the eyes then just use a lipgloss with just a hint of color. keep eyebrows neat but they dont have to be small. Darker colored and more simplistic clothes, and of course a little sexy black dress. hope this helps!!

Hi

I know how you feel as I look young for my age too. Im 24 nearly 25 and people think im about 17 or 18.

Im in uk so we only have to be 18 to drink. So when I go to bars etc to look older I wear more mature clothes, wear make up and heels etc but sometime I still get asked for id!

Im 5'1 and have a baby face and im also petite build. We should similar in every other way looks wise.

I will go by what works for me - for what you should do for your birthday to look older. Wear full make up. You can pluck your eye brows a bit but dont make them really thin as girls that do that look awful i think!

Eye make up seems the be the best for looking older. Wear a suttle shade of eye shadow... bronze, gold, brown, greys etc that sort of thing which ever suits you best. Put on top liner and loads of mascara and eye liner under your eye. It seems a lot but it will make you look older. Darker shades of lippy work well too so wear that. Stay clear of baby pinks etc.

Next is clothing. Wear a padded push up bra. Im smaller than you im a 32a... but wearing a padded bra and showing off your chest does make you look older (sad I know!). Wear a low cut top and some trousers or jeans. Make sure the clothes you wear are a good fit and tight or taylored. Make sure you wear heels. This adds height and height makes people think you are older for some mad reason. I think heeled boots look good. If you wear skinny jeans you can tuck them into the boots this can look really good if you have the right style boots. To make you look even older wear a blazer style jacket - they are quite mature looking and always work for me!

Stay clear of any childish colours epecially pastel colours, baby blues baby pinks etc....
Its the more boring colours that make people look more mature im afarid - Blacks, creams, grey, brown, tan, white even red and some blues you can get away with too.

Finish off with some dangerly earrings if you have your ears pierced.... and a suttle necklace.

Have fun! And Happy early birthday!!!!!

X

Well it seems like you have a feww advantages both ways, but for a more older look, i would suggest black eyeliner, mascara not too much and not too little and a warm tone of brown for eyeshadow thats a little darker than your skin tone but not tooo dark. For the lips i think either a pale pink gloss or red lipstick take your pick

It may be the clothes you are wearing.
try wearing more mature clothes.
black clothes are always nice..
wear high heels.
pluck your eye brows into a nice shape..
wear dark lipstick. pinks and pastels make you look younger..
blush or bronzer to essentuate your cheek bones..
sexy dresses are always good for looking older..

or you could just get a tattoo in a visable place..
then everyone just assumes you are 18+

change your makeup style:

FOR BLUE EYES

1. Tried and True: taupe, gray, violet, purple, deep blue (a darker shade than your eye color makes your eyes really blue), black (mix it with bright blue for a smoky effect)

2. Funky Favorites: silver, turquoise, fuschia (brightens any shade of blue)

GREEN or HAZEL EYES

1. Tried and True: brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes)

2. Funky Favorites: gold, glowing, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)

BROWN EYES

1. Tried and True: copper, bronze, champagne Uma Thurman (soft pink with a touch of apricot), brown (for a doe-eyed look), beige, and khaki-green (lighter shades add highlight)

2. Funky Favorites: tangerine, royal blue, hot pink, lime-green (the contrast adds punch to brown)

ALL EYES

1. Tried and True (Classic): navy or charcoal base to define and a powder-blue shadow for highlighting (it brightens your brow bone so any eye color pops)

2. Funky Favorites: silver-sparkle shadow makes all eyes look edgy.

change your clothes style and wear heels.

good luck!
