I had a mate when I was about 12 who was a little older than me and was really challenged mentally. I had a hairy chest but he had nothing to show and asked me how I had got a hairy chest.
Just for a joke, I told him I mixed up a flour and salt paste every night and put it on my body before going to bed. The idea was that the hair would get thirsty and come up for moisture from the sweat etc.
I thought nothing of this until a few days later when his mother came banging on our front door. Apparently she had gone into her son's bedroom in the morning to wake him up and gone mental as she thought he was dead because he was so white!!
Yes, he had tried the flour and salt paste. He remains a legend!!

My mum told me i had to do my own washing, so i let it pile up until i had nothing at all to wear thinking she would cave. Anyway she didnt and i was forced to do it myself. I did 5 or 6 loads and then i asked my mum why my clothes weren't clean, she asked if i had put soap powder in.
I hadn't, but its because i really thought the washing machine dispensed it itself.. had to redo all my washing, and my family have never let me live it down

Waiting for the bus home from work, saw it coming and stuck my arm out, it was actually a fire engine, i didn't have my glasses on (before i had contacts). My friend had realised my mistake and when I turned round she was killing herself laughing, she just let me stand there. Honest.

My husband is Greek and his Mum did everything for him until he married me!!! i asked him to make me a cup of tea, it was the first time he had ever done it. It tasted a bit weak but it was OK as a first attempt.
Two days later I went to fill the kettle only to find a teabag inside, he thought you boiled the water with a teabag in!!! He has since learnt to make the perfect cuppa

I managed to superglue my two forefingers together by accident!!. I was glueing something really small which I had to hold together and after letting go I realised I had my forefingers stuck together too.

i have a hot tub inside my home, and i thought a few bubbles would be nice, so, i put some DISH SOAP in there and i had BUBBLES all the way into my library, i will NEVER DO THAT AGAIN--TALK ABOUT STUPID--WHAT WAS I THINKING???
