I'm not having any morning sickness and I am eating normally but I seem to be putting on an awful lot of weight around my stomach and waist, I look about 6 months pregnant. Is this normal?

Congratulations :)

I guess it's just differnt for each person. Depends on there body size and lifestyle and many other things.
It is normal though as in the early stages of pregnancy, some people tend to not put as much weight on and some loads. It's to do with the hormones going through your body and stuff like being bloated.

I'm nearly 6 months pregnant and i dont think i look it at all. My stomachs gone a lot tighter and i feel pregnant and everythings fine but im not sticking out as much or anything.

It's just different to each person.

If your concerned though, speak to your midwife who will reasure you and answer any worrys you have.

Good luck and hope all goes well :)

I am now 18 weeks pregnant with my second baby and i showed very quickly this time. It depends what time of day it is. I dont really look pregnant in the morning but as the day goes on im sure i get bigger. Good luck anyway, everyone is different

it turned out that i was carrying a lot of water my daughter when she was born didnt wiegh the 10-11 pounds my midwives thought she would she weighed in at 7 pounds and newborn clothes didnt fit her

I am 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant and feel so so so big myself, I haven't had morning sickness either and have been eating pretty healthy and not eating junk. I have been wondering myself why I have put weight on so quickly. I have to buy maternity trousers cos I haven't a pair at home that fit me!!

women are so different. my sister didn't gain a pound till the end. however my mother gained all her weight in the beginning and then was fully grown and developed at three months or so. everyone thought she was having twins. but by the time nine months came around she was stil the same size so you may just be gaining all the weight now and then you will stop soon

Sure is normal, my sister was the same, so skinny before and so big early on in her pregnancy, and there was only one baby lol. She put on 5 stone!!! But the baby was only 8lb! Just depends on the individual.

I am as far gone as you and I noticed last night I have put on a lot of weight just on my belly. If you are petite and slim pregnancy shows up sooner thats all. Or it could be water retention or constipation

Same happened to me, sweetie, I was 9 weeks along when someone asked me how far along I was because I had a big bump, but it was just bloating and hormonal stuff like that...
And my baby was 8lb 1.5oz- definitely only one baby too...don't believe any one who tells you you are carrying more than one baby! (Unless it's a sonographer!lol)

Don't worry about this, it is just the way your body has reacted to pregnancy. It's fine :)

probably, if you feel fine, then it's ok. When I was pregnant, i started showing only after 13-14 weeks, but everything is individual. control your weight, though. you don't want a huge baby and problems with delivery.
