Because Americans, with the exception of those dopey libs, are learning to think for themselves rather than just accept the lies and distortions that the Times puts out as news, and their influence is fading.

If I lived there I would hate everybody else too. because everybody else pays a lot less than I do for everything . they have had alot of democratic control over the years , and their cost of living is outrageous because of that .. it is either that or stupidity has been released in to the smog , and everybody is breathing it , seems like everybody up there is nuts , for example Cops shooting unarmed Grooms , old people getting jacked up , and shootouts in a pizza shop . and of course there is The New York times and um Hillary ....nuff said....

Wrong presumption. Debate, dialogue, dissent, alternate views are part of a democratic institution. And I am glad there is somebody out there to check on what the governing party is doing. Lord knows we have enough sycophants.
