I try to do it like driving, so I tend to stick to the right side of the walk.

Personally I walk on the outside when I'm out with herself. It's some ingrained quaint habit of the man putting himself nearest the danger.

There is no law in this country about which way to walk, but I think the average person usually walks on the right side.

Sidewalks- sideways
Back streets- backwards
Footpaths-on your feet
Ringroads- round in circles

I tend to walk forwards......I find that when I walk backwards, I bump into too many things! lol

well in the uk i tend to walk to the place im going and then back, there's no particular way to walk up or down them, just be polite with others and dont always expect others to give way to you! xx
