First of all, how old are the two of you? in some states you must have parental permission to get an abortion. The second thing is that this is not a decision you make alone. Your girlfriend has more at this point to do with this decision than her. If you want to continue this relationship, the last thing you should do is push her to do something that may cause her to hate you for the rest of your life. Last, I would like to tell you about adoption. I can understand that you are not prepared for a child. So many people in the country can't have children and would be grateful to you for giving them the opportunity to raise this child as their own. You made a bad decision in a moment of weakness and now you should make the right decision on behalf of your unborn child. Give it the chance to have a life of his or her own.

Too bad, should've thought of this. Abortion is murder..and for that person on top, a d&c is not the same as abortion!!!! Yeah they may be done the same, but a d&c is done when the baby is miscarried or will not grow lets say if the baby is still the size and growth of a 1 month old and is suppose to be 5 months, it stopped growing and never will so they must do a d&c which is not an abortion. Proccesses of abortion are criminal I think, no actually I know, the baby already has feelings, some drs use a salt product to burn the baby inside and out, and yes the baby feels this! Depending how old you are--you may need your parents guidance. No matter, you and your girlfriend will need to talk this through first and always keep in mind through all of this that the decision is always ultimately up to her (I know it's not fair). The best thing for you to do is to figure all your options out and even write them down. Do you love your girlfriend enough to go all the way through with creating an image of the both of you (the baby)? Do you see yourself being with her for a while and getting married?

You don't always have to follow the ideals that everyone expects you to follow but always do what you know in your gut feels RIGHT. Inevitably in the end, if it doesn't feel right to you then it's not right in your case.

BTW, next time this happens suggest to the girlfriend to take the morning after pill. It doesn't work every time and it can get a little expensive but a very good alternative if you accidentally flubb once. Go visit the health department...they're very good about keeping everything confidential and helpful also. I would also look through the phone book (white and yellow pages) and call some people up for some help.

well... personally u should think about it .. even though u might be young abortion is not always the anser even if u dont want to keep the baby, you should of thought about it first i spose, this is very common , and should b adressed better . i.e through gouvenment etc

first you do not need to go and have a abortion i think maybe later you may not be able to live with yourself. The thing is that you did do your deed and had fun doing it so do what you have to do and be a dad or stop playing and not wearing protection. Not only that you never know it could a brain surgeon or who knows just prey about it and if she is deal with it and do the right think by her and the baby

depends where u are in the world but in the uk it s abt £500
and takes about 2-3 hours going through the procedurewith you etc, ur girl might get an infection, sickness, cramps, diahorrea, sore, if u live alone together then good for you but if not then someone will find out so have a good excuse ready!

have you ever heard of contraception?
there are different types of abortion - depending on a woman's age, health condition, how many weeks she's pregnant, etc. I saw a documentary on how all these kinds of abortion are done. I fainted twice while watching, then couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. the horrible view is still there in my memory.
