There is nothing wrong or stupid with a guy using body lotion. Nor when it comes to using cosmetics. In fact, the real wussies are the the guys who don't use cosmetics for the mere reason that they're a "girl thing."

Before, male grooming is just consisted of proper hygene, combing your hair neatly and shaving. Nowadays, there are toiletries and facial treatments designed for them, and men are more conscious about their zits. People are also more open and less acustomed to traditional conformity I think lots of it should be banished.

Just think: would you rather be caught dead buying a moisturizer and age later or give up grooming and have skin cancer? Don't give up taking care of your skin. If you continue, you'll age less and people will be amazed (and envied) on how great-looking you are. Just wait and see. Hehehe... Just don't over-do it or be extremely vain.

So there. :)

Another girl who agrees it's actually better for men to use moisturizer and whatever other grooming products they choose. Go ahead. Everyone deserves healthy skin in good condition, no matter if they're a man or a woman. I haven't ever really heard of someone accusing a guy of being a wuss or a girl for doing it, either. If you look in most men's magazines, you'll see that they advise it all the time. And movie and music stars certainly use them. I don't think there's much stigma about it at all. If you're younger, perhaps in high school, and someone is giving you a hard time about it, just tell them that you know for a fact that most women would rather be with someone who takes care of themselves, and that includes taking care of their skin.
Go forth and moisturize! ;)

There is actually nothing wrong with men that like to take care of their bodies. Using body lotion just means that you don't like having rough, dry, scratchy skin. Keeping it moisturized keeps it healthy, it keeps your skin youthful, and anyone would prefer to be close to you than someone with cracked rough skin.

I never understood why some men are teased for doing so. It is just healthy! Good for you.

Absolutely nothing. Men have skin just like women, although it has different needs. I think that it's important for everyone to feel great about themselves, regardless of their gender. If you're self conscience about fine lines and wrinkles, dryness, irritation, or just want to prevent aging, who's to say that it's not manly? I think that it's amazing when men take care of their skin. It shows that they care about themselves.

theres nothing wrong with a guy using lotion. I dated guys who use stuff like that. the only bad thing is when a guy smells girly, like flowers or fruit.
