Can a tampon get lost inside me?
No, because there's no place for it to go. The tampon has to stay in your vagina, which is a blind sac only 3" to 5" long. There is an opening from your vagina to your uterus through your cervix, but it's smaller than the head of a pin (much too small for a tampon to squeeze through)!

It can however get turned sideways and be harder for you to reach. This would usually only happen if you stuck another tampon in there or had sex with a tampon in. If you have a tampon stuck in you more then likely after 2 days the smell would be so bad you couldn't stand yourself.

yes, and you should call your gyno for a tampon extraction so you dont get toxic shock syndrome

they talked about it on The View. you can try to get it out on your own but otherwise u need a doctor if it's stuck in there too long. it can't go anywhere once it is in there... the vagina is self contained.
