This guy i know was being intolerant. I can only tolerate such measures for so long. Should i outwardly beat him down or inwardly tolerate his intolerances?

You are doing well to be tolerant inside. You know the difference and should just move on. Why lower your tolerance level with a beating, verbally , or physically.
You will be a genuine kind human being to practice tolerance, and it will bring you to a higher train of thought in body & spirit. Hatred will not eat you up. You will just know how unfortunate some people are.

Hope this gives you food for thought.

Interesting question. I have known quite a few gay people who are the most intolerant people on earth. They hate anyone who doesn't think like they do.

I personally just blew it off and didn't let their hatred and bigotry bother me.

no matter what your orientation is,
a man's patience can wear thin.
if this guy is bugging you
and he knows he's bugging you,
serve him up a knuckle sandwich!
