nice idea. the only problem is the army want men, not boys who haven't grown up, football violence is meaningless thuggery. most of these idiots couldn't handle discipline, and are selfish fighters. in the army you have to work together for a purpose, football hooligans who want to fight probably applied for the army and even the army turned them down.

and in your answer to a similar question you call them cowards.

If you had any idea what ME and other Parents & Grandparents are going through knowing our family are out in both of the countries you are making jokes about, fighting & sometimes being KILLED trying to make it a better place to live. You might engage your brain in future before asking such a stupid Question.

Completely agree with giggs 007! im a newcastle fan and watching them lose (again) was.. what can i say..more than a little dissapointing! but under no circumstances would i start throwing stuff and hitting people left right and centre! you just dont do it, i do wonder if these people are like this not only when watching footy but in everything they do?

I think this is something unavoidable in any kind of activity involving two sides desperate for a win.

The main reason for this I think is that if one side feel they've been treated unfaily they obviously react in a violent way.

There is no smoke without fire.

i'm ashamed to say i used to be one,its about your teams honour,your citys pride,wanting to be the best,knowing other teams fans are scared when they come to your town and turning them over in there own towns.ive realised and grown up now,and im big enough to say sorry
