Wow! Correct me if I wrong -- you want to send a 1GB file through email. I don't think you can since your normal email file attachment has maximum size limit.

A faster way will be to burn the video file to a CD or DVD and send it.

Alternatively, if you have a website that has large webhosting space (2GB above), you can try to upload the file to it and allow it to be downloaded by your principal.

else there's 2 more options that you can look at:

1. Using a fee based service
There's a fee-based service which I understand will allow you to send more than 1GB files. You may want to checkout http://www.yousendit.com

2. Create a torrent
You can create a torrent (using file sharing software eg. http://www.bitcomet.com). However the download speed could be slow.

More info on how to create a torrent can be viewed at:

Better choice is to burn it to a CD/DVD and then Send it.

Or you can buy (free if available) web site sapce of 1GB, then upload the file by resume supported FTP, and mail it to the Principle by using your own website. You can also give a link to the file.

Just Saying ( I know it wont help)

you would need to zip the file with winzip or some similar program.

or make a copy of the original video,, and download Movie maker 2 from Microsof bring the (coppied) video in to movie maker 2 and edit it save it and send it e-mail

now I did say a copy of the original video that way if it mucks up you have not lost the original video

using mm2 it makes the files small and easier to e-mail

web search for
microsoft, move maker 2,

Hi mate.....there is no email that allows u to attach files more than 20 MB. That's the max! And even if there was one, it would have taken you days to attach it! But you can always burn it on a disc or store it in a pendrive!! Lemme know what you did :-).

You can probably use Foldershare.com. Its free. It doesnt really email, its more like a virtual network. There are other places, like YouSendIt.com that supposedly send unlimited sizes of emails, but you have to have a premium account to send unlimited size, and it's not free.
