think the question need to be interesting to start.
However and interesting, attractive of different Avatar may get to click on a questions that might otherwise pass by.
In the end, much as we might say it shouldn't, looks do matter.

Sure people look at them but people DONT look at them and not still read the answer or question, I would say it doesnt. It help alittle but it is really the question or the answer.
