Why do (some) people hate John Cena?.He's pretty good isn't he?

No, he's not. Jose, let me ask you this. Do you always boo guys like Shelton Benjamin and Edge? Because Shelton Benjamin is a fantastic wrestler.and Edge is one of the best heels(bad guys) right now and has done a lot for the business.
Do you jump the band wagon? Do you only cheer for "good guys"? Wrestling fans that hate Cena like myself have minds of our own. It doesn't matter to us how certain wrestlers portay themselves. If they've done a lot for the business and or can wrestle well, we respect them. Cena CAN'T wrestle when you compare him to guys like Shelton Benjamin, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, and Jonny Nitro.

I beg to differ with whoever said Cena can't wrestle. I'd like to see Johnny Nitro or Shelton Benjamin give the Big Show an FU. Big Show is bigger than Andre the Giant and all Hulk Hogan ever did was scoop slam him. Cena put the Big Show on his shoulders and held him there for a good 2 seconds. That might not be technically proficient, but that's one heck of a display.
Having said this, that is the only reason I give Cena any credit. I hate his guts because he just seems fake. I know wrestlers change personas, but to go from a boom box rapper, to a bling bling idiot with an attitide, to now some kind of wannabe soldier just makes me sick. I root against Cena in every match except when he wrestles Shawn Micheals because he's the only other guy I hate more. Having said that, if Cena were to join DX, I'd like him alot more for the simple fact he wouldn't be changing his persona every month.

Most people pride themselves as smarks, me included, and we know what good wrestling is. We see someone like Cena who doesn't earn his place, has no real in-ring talent, and borrowed charisma and we hate him. Cena is not a good wrestler, plain and simple, and us smarks know it.
We also look at someone like, oh, let's say Shelton Benjamin or Edge, someone who is booed, but they're really great wrestlers, and it upsets us. Me, personally, I understand that there are kayfabe marks who enjoy wrestling, cheer the face's, and boo the heels, and basically let theirselves fall into the kayfabe. These people aren't stupid, as a matter of fact, I wish I could go back to being someone who didn't analyze prowrestling so much, because I'm a former internet wrestling smarks who used to want to know everything, but I try to avoid the IWC these days. I still enjoy some backstage politics and wrestling articles, but I'd rather not know who is going to debut, or think about if a match is stellar or a flop anymore. It devalues what the wrestlers do, and it just really makes you start to hate wrestling.
To all of you Cena fan's, enjoy him. Enjoy him until you wise up. Enjoy him until someone removes your kayfabe, McMahon kool-aid drinking blinders and you see wrestling for what it is...and then you'll start to enjoy it less.

lets talk about Edge, again he comes out to wrestle it`s jeff hardy this time and being scared he doesn`t Now john cena hasn`t backed down from a challenge yet.

Why?
1. He can't wrestle
2. His character sucks
3. He can't talk on the mic without sounding like a tard
4. He's pushed on us as the savior of wrestling despite the fact he can't wrestle
5. He's annoying
Those are my 5 reasons why I despise him.

I don't hate him,but he's far from a favorite for me also,I just think he's been holding the belt a bit to long,and I would just like to see them switch it up a bit to keep the entertainment factor!!

because he is boring. he has been holding the title for a long long time now...and it's getting kinda...i don't know...old maybe. he should give the title to someone else and create a new story line (maybe a love story between him and maria?). to make him more interesting and fun to watch

cuz he's an over rated rock wanna-be who only has 6 moves, dosent deserve to have that title and hogs the camera way too freakin much!
