If this is for homework, then you have a teacher who will grade it. From a teacher's point of view, it is good to write a story that says something important, inspires us, teaches a lesson, helps us be better people, etc.

How about make up a story about a homeless person you've seen on the street, begging. How someone helped him/her, or befriended him/her and he/she began putting a broken life back together.

Maybe a story about a mutt rescued from the pound, that ended u[p saving the life of someone in the family.

A kid with an entreprenurial spirit who starts her own business and becomes a millionaire at the age of 15 -- and turns aroound and does something magnificent with it.

Remember, anyone can write the same old love stories: either they live happily ever after, or end up broken hearted or find someone new. But writing stories that encourage, inspire and delight will make you feel good, your reader feel good, and get you good grades.

what kind of story does it have to be?

cuz usually the best stories out there were writen about sumthing in the writers life that happened and had a real emotional effect on them, but they used different characters

so in a sense capturing everyone out there and putting them in the same emotional position as the writer was in in the incedent their story relates to

simply put: if uve ever had an event that had a big impact on your heart and your life, then use that situation, but different characters and it should be pretty good

I accept as true with 2 different solutions to locate some proposal and write approximately what you like or seem in magazines/papers for proposal. the 1st thoughts people usually write are approximately some thing that has happened to them or somebody they understand. you will possibly be able to desire to write some modern-day subject, the credit crunch, and how a kinfolk start to lose their wealth by interest loss and investments. it might desire to be emotional and dramatic with possibly the perspective taken from a teenage persons view factor.

Trust me when I say that just about the best ideas come from your dreams..... try and catch a dream.. think about it.. and you really can think of a story! Or you can write according to mood :a girl who learns that she has a huge destiny, or a guy who learns that he's a werewolf... maybe a kid who's just discovered his/her birth parents.... and it helps to read, so that you can get sparks of ideas from books...just don't copy! I hope that helps...

You could write it about alot of different things like:
-A criminal organization, planning to take over the world, or to kidnap someone
-long lost siblings, find out they have 'mysterious powers'
-the journey of someone who at first seems insignificant, but gradually finds out that they were made for 'higher things'
-talking animals? --okay! now I'm running out of ideas!

I know, I know, they sound a bit cliched, but there worth a try right?
