I am just wondering wether everyone who enters Harvard are smart, or even genius? Because I think that if a person can enter Harvard, he/she have to be really smart! Or is it there those who are genius, smart, mediocre and incredibly stupid?

well, I'm not at Harvard, but I'm at another Ivy (UPenn), and I assure you, that not everyone here is a genius. There are a couple reasons for this. Yes, most people that attend the Ivy Leagues (or any of the top colleges) are very bright, there are some that aren't:

1. athletes. While the Ivies do NOT give sports scholarships, they do do some scouting and so there are some athletes here that aren't the brightest. Then again, they don't tend to be complete idiots because they do still have to pass some of the classes, and they don't get special, easy ones.

2. alumni/big contributors. There is something to be said for legacies - if you have generations that went to the school, especially if they were rich and gave lots of money, you have a much easier time getting in.

But most people get here on academic ability. There is a spectrum...there are geniuses, and I categorize myself as no more than averagely smart. There is a spectrum, though it is weighted more heavily towards the brightest

Harvard is more about money prestige and connections than academia,it is very hard to get accepted but once your in your in like Flynn they don't like people not to succeed there. If you want a real school full of smarties go 2 miles down Massachusetts Ave to MIT the second biggest endowment in the nation after Harvard and at MIT if you can get in you can go no matter how poor you are. They want your mind not your cash since they get so much government funding.MIT's tuition is around 44,000 a year with about 10,000 students equaling 440 million a year they take in from tuition which is less than 2 percent of their operating budget, the feds account for almost 90% of the budget.Anyway even if your smart enough to get into Harvard if your family doesn't have alot of money there are no Guarantees.I agree with DeeJay there is a big difference between having a borderline photographic memory and being smart.

Yes and no. You obviously have to keep a certain academic standing to attend Harvard, have numerous extracurriculars, and show "leadership skills", and have high standardized test scores. But brains arent everything, in fact, a lot of it is determined by whether or not you are the family of alumni; they get priority. There was a kid in my high school (a school in the top 10% in California) who was Valedictorian, got a perfect score on the new SAT, took and got the highest score on every AP exam offered, started a few clubs on campus, and was a brown belt in karate, and he still got denied.

So yes, brains are important, but they're not everything.

P.s. the grammer from your question bothers me, and im not even sober....

Despite the grammatical errors in your question (sorry I was an English major) I would have to say that being intelligent would greatly help you when applying to Ivy League schools. As you will find at any other school, state or private, Ivy or not, there will always be those people that somehow got in and do not deserve it. I can say from experience that it would be a waste of money and time to apply if you do not meet the basic academic and testing requirements.

This is my feelings. I worked with associates that had their Wall covered with degrees and certificates and they were just like talking to a stump. I'll share this quote that get right to the point.

Never mistake knowledge for wisdom.
One helps you make a living.
The other helps you make a life.

Some test well. I have a friend who has a dental degree and works in a hardware store. He has never been able to function as a dentist. His father was everyone favorite doctor in our town.
