My foundationis running low, and I was thinking about trying something new. I am currently using No7 Intelligent balance mousse foundation, which is nice its like a pot of cream and wen you apply it goes to a powder. But I want one that has more coverage as I dont think it covers very well. Whats a good foundation maybe from the no7 range that covers acne scars/spots/freckles etc, and I dont mind if its obvious that I have foundation on thankyou in advance!

I was shot in the head with a 22 as a junior high student in 1991. I had numerous surgeries.. The best things that covered it. Derma Blend... You can get it at Macy's Buy the powder to set it.. Derba Color is great two and has a lot of other tones so, you can mix and match with your skin color.

The best thing I've learned as a model, singer and actor, this is my profession. 1) Match the foundation to your neck.
2) Dot moisturizer on your face and blend that with foundation.
Only go 1-2 shades darker. You don't want people knowing that your wearing it..

3) Christian Dior Air Wear is great it's airbrush foundation in a can, it's great! You can't feel it at all. But, I find the best is by: Estee Lauder, the colour I use is vanilla in a square type bottle. I think It's so flawless.

Lancome makes a decent one too. Bare essentials you can buy online or at sephora, it's great too. But, this is natural minerals, the coverage for blemishes is great.. This is a powder type foundation. You have to be careful, a little bit goes a long way.

If your going for cheap.... Loreal makes some nice one's
I recommend spending a little more money, and having the most use out of it and total satisfaction then buying something at the drug store, and having it be crap. You can buy a decent foundation at the drug store for about 11-13 bucks but if you spent an extra 10-20 bucks it's usually a better product, because it's made from other things. Be careful of Mica it can cause a lot of allergies, and break outs.

If you want custom blended foundation for your skin Perscriptives is the way to go you can buy it at macy's Bloomingdales, Dillards, or Bullocks. Good Luck...

MAC have a good range of foundations-www.mac.com available @ Frasers department store or buy online. Studio Fix foundation is a medium-full coverage. What is your budget? If you have acne/spots then you would have to go for an oil-free foundation that will give you a matte finish. There is also Prescriptives foundation-they can make you the foundation that actually matches your own skin tone! They do custom blend foundations/concealers available @ Frasers. Others you can try are Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Maxfactor. Visit the beauty department in Debenhams/Frasers

hiya i have the same problem (want quite a high coverage) and the best one i've used is estee lauder doublewear foundation. it lasts all day and i absolutely love it! i have trid absolutely everything but this one is just brilliant! its about £21.00 for a bottle but well worth it and you don't need much so it lasts for ages. most department stores have an estee lauder counter and if you go in there and speak to the lady she will advise you on what shade etc, or maybe a different foundation altogether from their range and give you lots of testers to try before you buy. as well as that, sally hensen does a spray foundation which covers well, it's about £4.49 and having tried the dior one i honestly found this one better, and its 1/4 of the price!!

My daughter has bad spots and we both use Rimmel Recover foundation it is not thick or thin just nice looks natural and covers well not to mention it makes you look fresh and awake all day. It is only £4 in superdrug at the moment and normally costs £6 so not to expensive.
A tip for you if you use a plastic container for foundation get a knife and slice it in half when you cant squeeze any more out and then wrap in cling film or foil trust me another weeks worth in there.

I love Boots No7 Intelligent cover foundation, it goes on really smooth and feels really silky, I know the one you have at present as I was torn between the two when buying.

It is not from the No7 range but if you are looking for greater coverage try Diors spray foundation - its a little pricier but it lasts ages! Really good coverage - however I found it dried out my skin a little. I now use Clinique Superbalance which is also fab!

I use a good concealer (Lancome) for blemishes (don't forget to treat them also, the best one is from Dermalogica) and then I put No7 tinted moisturiser. I have never liked foundations - they usually block your pores therefore you get spots and blemishes. Your skin needs to breathe. Make sure you choose a concealer very close to your natural skin colour though!

the best is revlon colorstay. I love it! whenever I use it people think I got a makeover. It covers everyhting and it lasts sooo long too. I did my own make up for my bridals and my photographer was blown away. I always have people ask me if I have hired someone to do my make up. I for sure recomend it plus its easy to get you don't have to go to the mall and its not that expensive. you can get it at wal mart, rite aid, even some grocery stores. it is so good. I love my base I will never ever ever switch in my whole life. it has the best coverage ever! please just give it a try, I promise you will like it :)

I use Le'oreal Infallible .. It lasts 16 hours and doesnt rub off. I think this foundation is the best i have tried so far. Its in quite expensive around £12 but it lasts a long time. I couldnt live without foundation and i believe le`oreal is one of the best makes.

Ms _jaffa:

Try a mineral powder foundation. The brand I use is amazing.
I am sure if you did not want to spend a lot on it one of the brands at say CVS would suffice!
I am Leary of putting anything on my face now that has any mineral oil to it.
(it hardens your skin) I have been using Arbonne's mineral powder foundation and have to say [I got it free when I bought the nutrimin c line] I would try it -
it's amazing how it makes my face radiate. It comes in a lot of shades (to match complexion) and is pure/natural.
With an SPF to it too.
