OK Im stopping it at seannixon36 the tallies in order are NJ=12---DET+BUF=11---ANA+NASH=9 looking at the current odds which I will post if you each put $100 dollars on each of these five teams counting a $10 vig on each bet the worst you can do is make is $408 if Buf wins best you can do is make $604 if Jersey wins which seems to be the biggest pick here, these are very good odds because chances are very good one of these five will win,Good Luck I know Im jumping on it ---- http://www.bettorsworld.com/nhl-odds.htm

well i would go with 3 teams in the Eastern Conference:

1- New Jersey Devils, allot of people think they play that same old style they did back in the 90's well if you look at the stats that aint so. Martin Brodeur has faced more shots then any other goalie in the league with 1944 SA and one of the best GAA and SP% in the league, so there a very high favourite to go all the way.

2- Buffalo Sabres, i think they have a great team but will history repeat it's self just like what happened to the Dallas Stars last year who knows. Ryan Miller is going to have to be on his toes and his offence really need to score for him to sucseed.

3- Pittsburgh Penguins, i just think Sidney Crosby is ready to play in playoffs, and with there two pick ups at the trade deadline with Roberts and Laraque will be a real big help and it really made this Pens team a real contender.

teams in the Western Conference:

really if you look at it it's harder to deside which team will come out on top. the Wings have the goalie but will he stay healthy cause they need that fire power up front to really compete, Anaheim has the fire power and we know how valuable Pronger really is so they are a real contender. the Canucks have been really great in the second half of the season and now Luongo has something to prove as hes arguably the 2nd best netminder in the world. Nashville Preds are also looking good with there offence this season just can't rely on the goaltending to much as Vokoun has been getting injured allot and with back up Chris Mason can he really be ready for a big playoff run, will just have to see. and for the Flames if the Kipper get's to his game come playoff time they can be a really big problem for the other teams. we all know how goalies can get really hot come playoff time and that usualy brings you to the Stanley Cup finals.

and I'm a Habs fan.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Anaheim-the best team in the league right now.
Detroit-the point leader in the west
Nashville-the best goaltending in the west
New Jersey-the best goaltending and defense overall
Buffalo

If I had two make an underdog choice, it would be either Pittsburgh or Ottawa. They both have great offense, but problems in goal.
