My Ma was given something can't remember what it was sorry but she got it off the doctor and it stopped her period because she was doing a run of the alps and would have been very inconvenient.. Talk to your doctor and see if theres anything that will definatetly stop it.

No other safe way.

Do not take the injection as it can take 6-9 months for bleeding to stop once the injection has started and there is no way reversing the effects of it.. Also it can actually take upto 12 months for fertility to return.

It depends when your honeymoon is - you could have the Mirena coil fitted, that tends to stop your periods, but most doctors recommend its' use for women who have already had children, and also it can take a little while to stop your periods. Taking the pill back to back is probably your best option though. The one sure-fire way to stop your periods is to become pregnant - this may be a little drastic though!

Yes there is, it can be stopped by using norithisterone,(Primolut N) However using 2 pill packs together, unless there is a contraindication to the pill, is probably the most common method used.

yes you can. if you want to keep taking the pill, all you have to do is skip the sugar pills in the pack and start on a new pack of pills. you wont get your period for that month.
