You seem to be saying, "homework is not very important in my life." And I would agree with you, homework takes up more time than it's worth. But you can't get good grades without it, and you can't get into a good college without good grades, and you can't get a good job without college.
In other words, you have to look at the big picture and prioritize what's important to you. If college is important, you are going to have to put up with homework. If making music is important to you, you put up with piano practice.
If you want to fit everything in, make a big chart and plan out chunks of time. They don't all have to be separated. For example, your friends also have homework to do, and studying for tests. In college a lot of people belong to study groups, so you are not so much on your own. Form a group to do homework together and prepare for tests. You could even take turns doing each other's chores together. It may not sound like much fun, but it does make the work go faster.
But do chart out how many hours you need to spend on different mandatory tasks. Then fit some fun in around and during them.

I used to have a friend who was extra-ordinary. She was best in class and she had lots of other extra curricular activities. I asked her what her secret was to being so organized. She told me for example that at night she would get her clothes ready for the next day- all ready hanging on hangers and all. Her school notebooks were always meticulously organized, so that when it was time for studying all she had to do was go over the material and then write a summary of what she already had intus in her brain.... like a rough draft of the knowledge needed for the upcoming test.... which she could picture as a road map to see the whole picture during tests.
In other words the secret is: learn to learn.... learn what works best for you- you should know yourself best. Do you have to write to learn better... or do you have to read aloud... maybe both? .... and second is learn to be organized. How? Write reminders to yourself. A good place to put reminders is the bathroom, because you have to go there and spend time there doing nothing- might as well read..... and also the ceiling is a good place- right above your bed, which you see the moment you open your eyes in the morning and which you see last before going to dreamland.
