Depends on the situation but seeing with spectacles is better for distance but with contacts you get peripheral vision.

I've had bad sight since I was very young; I am short - sighted and I have left eye -2.00 and the right one -2,50. I've been advised on several occasions not to go for the contact lenses, because they can cause trouble, besides they are much more expensive and awkward than glasses ! I wear glasses with lenses made of poly-carbonate, which reduces their weight and prevents them from bursting if I accidentally drop the glasses. I would advise you to wear glasses !

I love my contacts, but my glasses are nice sometimes too. With contacts I can see everything, not just whats in the lenses' view of the eyeglasses

I wear both....it really depends on what I am doing, as to which one is better...if I am going to be out in the heat & working outside..I put in my contacts...glasses are sooo hot sometimes...
Most of the time...since I work 3rd shift...I wear my glasses to work....my eyes get so tired & itchy by the 6th hr of working..
I like both...they both have advantages & disadvantages

Contacts except they dry the f*ck out of your eyes ai! lol.

personally I prefer spectacles
I can take them off whenever I like & give my eyes some rest

contacts...specs can really suit some ppl though but conacts are better...i use neither ;-)
