I don't know, but it sure makes me mad. I mean I can't even fit my head through them to feel the wind in my hair!

ppl on Y!answers have big and muscular heads coz of all that exercising while we answer...the windows are "normal" size for other numbheads though. Its made to fit the majority, else they would all fall outta it. lol

No one likes washing windows, and there are so many of the things, you'd be there all day if they were any bigger, also you cant leave any streaks because it messes with aerodynamics.

maybe because of pressure.
probably, the SMALL windows withstands pressure. but a sliding glass size window....would crack or such? and. TEMPERATURE too. more windows = colder temperature.
