Dishonesty. Stating that they believe in equal treatment plays so much better.

Baba Yaga asked for an example. VAWA is one.

I'm sure no feminists will respond, though. Silence is the standard feminist response to inequality that they favor.

The Violence Against WOMEN Act (VAWA) that was lobbied hard for by feminist organizations (e.g. NOW).

If feminists were truly for equal treatment, they would not propose and fight for such gender-specific legislation.

If the reverse language was used (Violence Against Men Act) with a buried statement that the funding can be used for women too, they would fight it tooth and nail as discriminatory.

Why no outcry from the feminist "community"?

This would not be a definition of a double standard since the original standards are being redefined to be inclusive of women. An example of this would be the fact that in the Constitution there are no feminine pronouns so women are actually totally excluded from having any rights per say.
Antifeminist support double standards that favour men. So what's your point? Feminist advocate equality which is something some misogynist males and females can't and won't attempt to understand. Then you have some women that make statements like I hate feminists. Why? It's because they don't know anything about what it represents.

Every feminist is a different person, and therefore, has different beliefs. Some want equality, some want entitlement, and others don't care.

Also, feminism as a whole has changed it's philosophy a good three or four times since it began. So that makes things more complicated. Some feminists believe in the feminism of what it was years ago, and other believe in what it is today (which is really more of a female entitlement movement which I have no problems with).

In sweden feminists do want women human beings to be drafted yet in undemanding words to do each of the secure jobs, I actually have no longer began to work out crowds of ladies human beings marching for the right to get there guts shot out like the privileged as they call us. the actuality is that feminists are sexist hypocrites who want favouritism, feminism has no longer some thing in any respect to do with equality. also right here in u.ok its regularly occurring to hearken to young women human beings making use of very undesirable language, even at the same time as they're talking to one yet another and its been like that for a lengthy time period.

Because no one wants to be the bad guy.
but on the other hand, i would be happy in a world where women opend doors for me, paid to take me out, give me there seat on a life raft on a sinking ship, and run into a burning building to rescue me. = )
although come to think of it, i dont even do most of that stuff.... oh well, still be nice.

Of course it's hypocritical. They also talk about "choice" yet feminist Simone de Beauvoir was quoted as saying that staying at home should not be a choice for women, as too many women would make that choice.
