money cannot ensure happiness in life but without money will also bring unhappiness. It depends how you use your money

Sometimes it does. If you know for sure that money can take care of your biggest concerns, it can ensure some happiness in your own life. It at least ensures security. And this is one woman who finds some happiness in security. It can ensure a better life for those who truly do have it bad. But just being rich is not enough. You need more than just money and stuff.

Sure, money can ensure happiness by making life easier to live.
But then how is that REALLY LIVING ?
A man born with a silver spoon in mouth, has no idea what to do with himself if all that wealth were suddenly taken away.
A man born with nothing, can find goodness & happiness in almost anything that crosses his path. Even the simplest thing is treasured as priceless, everyone & everything has special worth. A hug, friendship, love, kisses, gifts, etc. from the heart mean more than anything bought with money.

Well, I would assume the point is the title's question. Having more money could certainly make me happy because I have very little of it. Of course if one has health and/or emotional problems that money cannot rectify, that is a different story. Personally, I want to be rich AND happy. Being rich is like the frosting on the cake.
PS: Have you noticed that the people who tell you money doesn't matter have it!

I don't think money ensures happiness in life, but lack of money would surely ensure unhappiness. At least, that's true for me.

money helps in many ways to achieve happiness however it isn;t a panacea. I know many very wealthy men who have virtually everything they want and they are not happy. They are bored. Generally sour about their lives and show it. Their 250,000 dollar cars do not make them happy. In fact these cars are a menace. be carefull of the upholstery, watch the door. don't slam the glove compartment. A happy soul is happy with or without money but it sure helps to have money to help happiness along.

Yes. I would be much happier if I had enough money never to have to worry about money then I could quit my job & spend my time doing things that I love instead.

Money can buy happiness if you know where to shop!

Money doesn't ensure happiness, but it does give people more choices, which may in the long-run contribute to contentedness.
