I assume you have Windows XP, service pack 2 was released some time ago and is avialable from
the windows update site. Click Start , all programs, you should see Windows Update in the list. If you dont have a broadband connection see if you can borrow one when you do this.

You can also order the update CD from microsoft, they only charge for shipping the update is free.

You need to get updates regularly for your OS. They dont cost you anything but some internet time.

And ignore the "free laptop" spam that appears in your answers! Its a scam.
