You definitely want to use pure, safe, and beneficial products, especially because you have combination skin. Products that contain alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, or mineral oil might cause irritation and/or dryness. If you're going to use a washcloth, use a white one because there are no dyes in them. If you choose, exfoliate your skin 2-3 times a week, anything more has been shown to be too irritant. A good skin care regimen would be wash, tone, serum, moisturizer, then eye creme. Arbonne has some great skin care products that you might find beneficial. They are botanically based, water based, hypoallergenic, pH correct, dermatologist tested, not tested on animals, do not contain animal products or bi products, and formulated with nanosphere technology. Products that contain nanospheres are extremely beneficial because they specifically adjust to your particular skin type. If you're interested in learning more, I'll be happy to help you.

I have the same skin problems and I do the twice daily regimine of washing it in the morning with clean and clear oxygen burst, then use the oxygen burst moisturizer under my make up. At night I use the Apricot scrub. My face has been clear and almost perfect since i started doing this. Maybe you should try it. It's also affordable. Maybe 13$ for the whole set, and it last a long time.

I would definitely wash with a good cleanser that gently exfoliates, freshens and cleanses to clean the pores. I would never use just water and soap. I would think about all the chemicals and stuff in the air that our face comes in contact with everyday and you should truly invest in a great cleanser tailored for oily/combo skin

The regime you suggested would work great. Just don't rub with the washcloth too hard. And I would never use soap on your face, water is more than enough to clean your face. Try it for a week and see how your skin reacts. Good luck.

A glyceric soap by the name of basic is really good for those with sensitive skin/acne prone...i used it abd it worked wonder. The plan seems good. Nautural way of preventing instead of treating pimples once they occur!
