one of the popular girls (who has a boyfriend) thinks i am sweet and last night i went to this party and she wanted me told me not to be shy and to come and be with her.
i really want to but i am to shy, and i think my friend is jelouse (no clue why) what do i do i rather be the popular girls friend rather than the dork..... <3

i don't want to be the popular girls friend just because shes popular but also because she is so nice and my dorky friend (lol) well i always get in fights with her....so don't call me shallow!!!
and myself is not a dork i moved here last year and where i used to live i was the most popular girl

Have you seen the "Breakfast Club?" You need to! Popular vs. not popular is all bullsh*t! Labels do not mean a thing, focus on who falls into your category of "true friend!" Who is more trustworthy, who do you have more fun with, who will be your friend no matter what, who will be your friend there in 6 years when you really need a friend, and who will be the friend there when no one else is around and all you need is that friend? Never forget what matters in life! Some times it is very important to live in the moment, but when it come to friendship, short term is irrelovent! People, especially girls can be very mean, who cares if a person is lable as a "dork", what matters is if a person will stab you in the back, gossip, ditch you! Some are keepers and some are not, figure it out now or it will just bite you in the *ss down the road. Hold the keepers close to the heart, once they get away, your heart will never be the same!!

Well, be friends with both.
Maybe your friend feels jealous because she feels like you've ditched her for you to just be in the popular group of people.
Good friends are hard to come by. You'll realize this a bit later in life.
Its not really fair that you would rather be friends with the popular girl than the dork, what kind of a friend will that make you? I certainly wouldn't be your friend if i was her.
Be friends with both, have a girlie sleep over and invite them both. You may have fun.
