Nope, you are not allowed to take up work in Singapore whilst on a tourist visa. If you intend to come here to work, you would need to enter the country with an employment pass / work visa.

It's illegal to seek employment with a visiting visa. If I'm not mistaken, you can be jailed for that.

In order to work in Singapore, you'd need a sponsor (most likely the company that's hiring you) who would arrange everything for you, just like the fella below said.

you can't find employment in singapore with a visit visa because there very tight securities. if you are arrested while doing job with visit visa, you may go in jail for six months. you can convert visa in employment pass.

No u can't. However, nobody is going to say that you cannot be here for job interview. Once u secure a job if need to leave. Your employer is to get all the necessary follow-up done before u can be back using a employment permit.

you are not allowed to work without work visa once you have a job there your company will sponsor you and get you work visa.
