To that dude that put the Reds at six:
Man you are an idiot. The Reds have Harang and Arroyo. Arroyo was 7 in the MLB among starters with a 3.29 ERA, and Harange wasn't too far behind at 20 with a 3.76. On top of that Harange was 2nd in the MLB in strikeouts with 216, and Arroyo was 10th with 184. They also ate up innings Arroyo was number 1 in IP with 240.2 while Harang was number 3 with 234.1.

1) Milwaukee - With Capuano and Bush, they are good. When Sheets is healthy, they are the best in the division.
2) St. Louis - They lost some of their quality in the offseason. But this division has a lack of good pitching. Their bullpen is pretty solid.
3) Houston - I hope Clemens stays away. He is an idiot. But this team, like their pitching, is middle of the road
4) Chicago - take out Zambrano, and then tell me who is great? No one. The talk in the papers here in Chicago is that they will have to win by softball scores when Z is not pitching. Why? Because they are not good after him.
5) Cincinnati - Bronson then what?
6) Pittsburgh - Like most in this world, I have not seen these guys in about 5 years. And I have missed nothing.

Astros, Cubs, Reds, Brewers, Cards, Pirates

Astros-overall solid starters, relievers, closer. The possibility of Clemens coming back tips the 'Stros to #1.

Cubs-Zambrano will be lights out. Spent decent money on decent pitchers. If the pitching staff is healthy, could be #1.

Reds- Had solid pitching last year. Not great, but ok.

Brewers-Ben Sheets solidifies rotation. Good young arms. Added Suppan. Cordero will be a solid closer.

Cards- Lost Weaver. Mulder coming back from injury. No middle relief. Izzy was shaky last year. Seeing how pitching fell apart late in the year and almost blowing the regular season, gotta face the truth, they were lucky that Weaver pitched well in playoffs.

Pirates- Bunch of no names.

1. Cards (Carpenter rules. Period.)
2. Cubs (Zambrano may actually win the Cy Young like he predicted)
3. Astros (If Clemens comes back, it bumps them up to 2)
4. Brewers (Ben Sheets, plus quality young arms)
5. Reds (Aaron Harang?)
6. Pirates (I can't believe they got rid of Mike Gonzalez)

Brewers - healthy ben sheets as ace. capuano and bush due for breakout season.
Cards - carpenter still the ace. wainwright then big question marks.
Reds - arroyo and haran are innings eaters.
Pirates - zach duke quietly having a nice spring. ian snell is on the rise too.
Cubs - too many injuries
Astros - might sign clemens back. lets only hope.

*edit-to the guy above jennings is with houston not st louis

You know its about time we started talking about the NL Central instead of the AL Central
1)The Birds on the Bat-Carpenter,enough said
2)Stros-they are pushing the Birds for first
3)Baby Bears-Zambrano,this is the guy you love to hate(Hate him cause hes not on your team, love him cause he is)
4)Brew Crew-this team will live and die with their pitching
5)Red Stockings-they are the ? in the Central
6)Bucs-no threat here,sorry pirate fans
Note to DrJ, Brew Crew the best in the Div.

3.cubs-one name zambrano,he is nasty but walks to many batters to be best in division, lilly's era will go down in nl
4.astros-oswalt is ace but no one else, lidge has gone mental
5.pirates-i know peeps gotem last but duke looks good this spring possibly returning to 05 duke
the rest sucks lets face it were hoping
