sometimes it's really just impossible... one my friends from like 4th grade recently told me was gay, and had always been and thought i knew. even now that i know, i can't see any gay in him...

The only way you can truly tell if someone is homosexual is if you are in bed with them, having sex. (Note: in order for this test to be effective, you must be the same sex as the supposed homosexual)

There's no way of knowing that for many people. Despite the movies/media popularizing stereotypical behavior associated with homosexuality, there are a number of people who don't display such traits, but are homosexual. The best way is to ask if they are comfortable with you. But please be polite, you might just end up a victim of heterophobia :-P

Gaydar. But its just a myth. Actually every gay man has a pink halo that can only be seen to others. That is how we know each other so well. Lesbians have a similar thing, but it is purple.
