I do not know. You might have to ask them? In a totally non confrontational manner. They are usually very well educated and elegant women. Very sleek and sassy. Many wear the hijab but most are quite modern and westernized. Chic in the way only beautiful dark eyed women can be.
Perhaps you think of the snooty ones. Kind of the Paris Hilton types of Iran. only not skanky looking. Most are very normal.

Some are, some are not. You can't generalize when it comes to an entire nation of women.
