How much can I get for this authentic rarely worn watch with no papers or casing. My friend sent it to me from across seas and said I could sell it for a thousand or more. What's value on it with good condition and no scars or scratches?

You can try selling it online at Time Zone (http://timezone.com), though I doubt anyone would buy it. If you don't have papers or a box and you have no way to prove that you bought it from an authorized dealer AND you got it abroad--no way. Very few people would be that stupid. Plus you didn't mention what it was made of--steel or mixed. If it is steel with diamond markers, you may be sell it for about $1500, though I wouldn't buy something from someone without papers and box.
