Depends on the Travelodge. There's no one rule for all of them (it's a franchise).

It all seems to depend on where the Travelodge is located. The one at Heathrow charges a parking fee. All the ones near to main attractions or destinations seem to charge.

Paying for parking is something I haven't come across when I have stayed at travel lodges. In fact aren't most located with a pub, thus the car park is available to customers of both - so in most cases I would say that charging for visitors is unusual also.

Well I've been to a few and I've never had to pay a parking fee so far, but I'm not saying that you will never come across one with a parking fee.
In general I would have thought that a certain amount of parking comes with all their Lodges. I would be surprised to hear any different from that.

I've been to Travelodge's in Birmingham, Manchester, Doncaster, Essex and Bristol but have never been asked to pay for parking .... It surprises me to hear that some may do!!

It depends on the individual Travelodge - check on their website, it tells you which ones you have to pay at.

Phone them up and ask them, if they tried to charge me for parking whilst staying there, I just wouldn't stay, simple.
