I'm posting this for a friend.
I've been in love with someone for over a year now I was a patient of his and only seen him once a week and during the days I didn't have appt. he was on my mind 24/7 I'm not his patient any more for a couple of months now and I'am totally love sick I feel a deep lost and horrible pain like something died in me. I'm not exactly single, I'm with someone and have children, but we don't get along. what do you think about this.

yes you are cheating. you need to see a different psychiatrist preferably one of the same sex.

You better try your best to get over him because all you are to him is a patient and that is it .Do you no how many patients fall in love with their Doctor about 50%. I was 18 when I had to go to the hosp. I was in there for one month so I got to see my doctor everyday.He was so good looking and young but he only saw me as a patient and nothing more.It took almost one year to forget him but I did and so can you.

I think because you are not getting along with the current person that you reached out to the fantasy guy who probably has faults that can not be believed if you knew of them.
Either enjoy the mental fantasy or get off the fantasy mind trip and start dealing with reality.
Just go romp in the hay with your lover and do not say a thing- just go romance them and be so kind and gentle and see where that puts your relationship. Sometimes all it takes is to be nice!

You are definitely not in love with your spouse. You should be doing some definite soul searching on what you want out of life before you go trying to jump into something else that might look good on the outside but not so good on the inside. The grass isn't always greener, you know.

I think this person is in a relationship, but lonely. She's hoping for a happily ever after with this new guy, who will end her suffering. She should ask herself though, have I done everything to make this work before doing anything stupid. Ovioulsy if she can fall in love with someone else she's no longer in love with her husband. But at least try, for the kids at least.

Well, the question is does this man show any interest in you and is he taken also? If you want to let him know how you feel try going back, go get an appointment because if not he will never know and so he doesn't forget your face.

Yes that would be cheating. Why dont you break things of with the one you don't get along with and try going for the doctor. Or since you have kids stay with the father.

i wouldnt call that cheating but the best answer is for you to go see the movie
" i think i love my wife" starring chris rock him and his wife is going through the exact same thing. and it would really solve this problem
