It was "Murder By Death". However, the characters weren't Ms. Marple or Charlie Chan, they had other similiar names/personalities. It was a parody.

Others who were parodied in the movie were:
Nick and Nora
Poirot
Philip Marlowe/Sam Spade

Sounds in basic terms somewhat like the Hills Have Eyes. It replaced into an older action picture, yet they made a remake some years in the past. I observed the remake whilst it first got here out, and that i'm somewhat rusty on the plot. even in spite of the shown fact that it sounds plenty like your description

It sounds like "Murder By Death", but I don't think that Marla Maples was in it.

One of my favorites, Murder By Death. Funny satire.
