So you are trying to exonerate the Republicans? WRONG! Even if democrats hindered the campaign in some slight way, most of the agenda was completed. They went into Iraq, messed up, end of story. What part of "Bush lied" don't you understand?

he screwed the pooch from the beginning.
he was told, and planned for the iraqis showering the troops in flowers and candy, then picking up the pieces themselves.
he was told by a half dozen reports from various military sources that he'd need a lot more troops than he asked for, he was told he'd need to do a lot of things, and he ignored most of it.
then he appointed interns to run the country. it was like a 23 year old first year grad that was secretary of the interior or something? it was pretty rediculous, and it wasn't the democrats who put them there. nor was it the democrats who gave haliburton no-bid contract after contract in which they'd lose half their inventory and bill us for it....
the corruption was as bad as new york city's boss tweed.

Nope sorry but Bush invaded a foreign country and under the UN charter that is illegal.
Even if he had found WMD it would still be illegal.
Saddam did it in kuwait it was illegal and the UN jumped on him.
Hitler did it in Poland.

Bush followed through on Clinton's legislation.
As for leadership, Hitler was a very good leader. A terrible person, but a good leader. He somehow managed to get people behind his plan of "kill everyone who looks like me."

Bush was very wrong with his first idea about irak. Then he found the wrong resolution. (War is always wrong!) Then he screwed up! In the history books, he will compete with Hitler about the title "worst leader of all times".
