Females during that time of the month are always so angry and moody. I would like to know how a man can better serve his female friend when she hits her time of the month. Sometimes I think I should try to comfort my girlfriend and just be with her but then ask myself if I should just leave her alone. I love my girlfriend and want serv her as best I can.

if u know already when is your girl get her period, then u should not say something that might offended her... especially during the first day or the days before the period.
if u see the girl gets too sensitive or angry in responding your question without reason, u shouldn't mad at her back.. it just gets worse. hehehe.. hopefully u understand.
just go with the flow, stay charm, and give her jokes, hug or kiss, .. no need to giver her something, just think its just another bad day.. (for a girl)

observe her first before doing such things...as there are times that even though she sees your so sweet but in that particular day she might not see you like that and she might get angry when you do it...ladies do not have the same moods when that particular days come...just respect her decisions when she like to be alone or if she wants you to be there...be understanding and patient...don't you ever face her bad mood with another bad mood you'll just create a really bad situation...

Well it depends, really, you might want to get a chocolate bar ready in any case,surprise her by being thoughtful and say **Hey ya know wot, I think I want to give you this since you are not feeling well!***. Chocolates tend to calm me down so I say give her that choco-fix!

Depends on the girl... The best thing to do is to ask her.
but you can prepare her a warm bath with her favorite scent when she arrive at home. get some ice cream too....
