Okay... I started dating this guy three months ago and I thought everything was great. He told me he liked me, thought I was beautiful, and cared about me. He owns a business and he might lose it soon due to finances and has been super stressed out. I have tried to give support, encouragement, or just space when he needs it and be respectful of the situation. He also just divorced a few months ago and I wonder if that has anything to do with it too. Tonight I called cuz I hadn't heard from him in a few days and he said he was having a horrible week and needed to focus on his business and nothing else. I said okay and tried to be really nice to him. He just seemed frustrated and I told him he doesn't have to "go it alone," that his friends and me care for him. He told me he doesn't need a gf right now and broke up with me. Said I deserve better. I told him he doesn't know what I need or deserve. I really liked him. I am so hurting and crying all night. Help );

I agree with Curious and Princess here. That guy needs time. Please feel flattered since he is actually thinking ABOUT YOU when he decides you deserve better! He is probably hurting and crying more THAN YOU, have you thought of that! Not only he might lose his business, now he is ***forced*** to break up with his girlfriend (i.e. you) too! Just give him time, as for you : go and busy yourself with volunteering and such. Time will tell, my pet. Like any Japanese will tell you : GANBATTE KUDASAI! (Have faith and be strong!)

Go out and have fun... don't be left alone... busy yourself because if not, you will always find space to remember him and the pain he caused. respect his decision... who knows when he's better he will remember you and apologized. Smile... it's not the end of the world.

break up are supposed to be and always tough. it hurts for a few days. one thing you must remember is you shouldn't make any critical decision about your life for one week. You will be alright in a week or two.
