I have hair down to my shoulders. Had it for over a year and noticed that my scalp is showing more and more every time. So for the last 2 months I have been washing it every other day with an oil-controlling shampoo / cond ( http://www.jason-natural.com/products/thin_to_thick.php ). Can someone give me some tips on decreasing my hair loss (washing routine?) Is it better to wash it every day? HELP I'M ONLY 25!!!!!

I heard about just wetting the hair and rinsing without shampooing.. but that makes the hair even greasier, therefore more prone to fall off!

Could be male pattern baldness. It runs in families. Did your father, uncles or grandfathers lose their hair early? It could have nothing to do with how often you shampoo, just who your ancestors are. BTW hair loss in men indicates the presence of testosterone. People in the male vanity industry have convinced men that it's something to panic over but it's really very macho.

Is it scalp all over or is it a devolping b*** spot (I dare not say bald, oops) There's a chance that you're just shedding a lot because of the season change. I'm hoping that's why all of mine is falling out so bad. There is also a chance that your hair is just thinning out. 25 isn't a ridiculously young age to start losing hair. Were the men in your mother's family bald? That's where you get your hair genes from. It's not unheard of for older men to have long hair so there's a chance you'll keep it all, but lots of people go bald and there's nothing wrong with that. Enjoy your hair.

From what I have heard, it is best not to wash your hair daily(stand under the shower and rinse it, but dont use shampoo every day)

As for hairloss, it is usually genetic. Not much you can do.
