my boyfriend of a year and a half just broke up with me?

Question

my boyfriend of a year and a half told me the other day that he was moving out that our realationship was to serious to fast. but that he still loved me and cared about me but that he was done trying with our realationship but i dont want to give up on us what do i do?

I told him i will do anything i just didnt want him to leave but he insists there is nothing that can be done. I cant loose him.

my daughter loves him and i just want to be able to convince him that we can make it work

guys all do this!!!! my current boyfriend has dumped me twice since he "needed time" and said that he didnt want to try anymore. yet 2 weeks later he came crawling back.

DONT TALK TO HIM AT ALL! dont feel sorry for yourself!!! DONT CONTACT HIM! dont do anything but have FUN and go out and be with friends!! SHOW HIM that you have a LIFE w/o him and then he'll realize the girl that he is missing out on spending his time with!! that'll show him!! and if he doesn't realize it YOU'RE BETTER OFF W/O HIM!

Obviously, if he says that there is nothing that can be done, then let it be. Do not grovel at his feet. You have already told him what you are willing to do to make it work and he still refused to work things out with you. Accept it as the end of a relationship and a beginning of a new one. But do not rush into a new relationship.

Give yourself time to heal. And anyway, maybe he is just a confused little bugger. But do not expect him to come back. If he comes back and you still love him, then great. Otherwise, keep yourself busy by working towards being successful in your future, learning new things, hanging out with old friends, meeting new people, taking up new interests such as surfing, traveling, or even a new boy.

This way you will be able to make yourself a better person and you will see life in a different perspective. What you make out of this situation will make you who you are.

I guess were in a bit of the same boat. My bf just broke up with me too. I guess thats why I'm on Y anwrs (: Honestly, I would act very accepting of his decision in front of him even if its tearing you up inside. He needs to see you as an independent woman and capable of making it without him. This might make him reevaluate things but it may not. You deserve better than a man who wouldn't move hell and earth to be with you. I know you love him but your heart will heal and the next time out you'll be all the wiser. Try to be with friends and stay busy. Work out, shop, do something for yourself. I have a favorite quote I'm sticking to this year. It goes... I'd say, tell him that any adjustments he needs, you'll make, show him how much you need him and that no distance can sever the bond between you two. Just make sure not to make it seem like you're going to give up and let it slide though. Show him you've got fighting spirit and will make it work.

its going to be difficult but you should just let it go if he really loves you he will come back. ive been in a situation just like this. its best if you just move on. i know it can be really hard but believe it or not eventually you will get over it.
