It's likely gas.

At 12 weeks, a fetus is only about 3 inches long.

No one ever believed me when I felt movement at 12 weeks. Everyone would say it was too early to feel anything and that it was gas. Why is it that gas at 12 weeks feels so much different than when you're not pregnant? The sensation is completely different, wouldn't you agree? I do believe you are feeling the baby move. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! As crazy as it sounds I wish my pregnancy had lasted longer than 9 months. It was absolutely wonderful knowing she was so safe and having her with me all the time. Pregnancy despite all its woes has to be the best feeling possible. I know the majority will disagree with me but I felt euphoric.

Well I don't know because I've thought that myself. I was around 12-14 weeks, and I swear I felt my daughter moving, I really felt like these little mini thumps! Maybe it was a twitch of my nerves who knows, but to this day I believe it was her. If your unsure you'll be sure within the next 4 to 8 weeks. It's a beautiful thing!

It's entirely possible that you might be feeling the baby move....3 months was when my mom started to feel me moving, although she said it was more of a gurgling sensation than kicks at first. I think that 3 months is probably about the normal time when you first start noticing movement, though. It's also when most women start showing, I think, so it sort of makes sense.

I actually think your feeling your insides stretch a bit is all at this stage. I think it's a bit early for you to actually be feeling the baby moving inside of you yet. Your doctor should be more in-tune with answering this question for you. Talk to him or her about it so you feel more at ease with what your body is going through and also so your more comfortable not thinking your actually lousing your mind. Congratulations on your bundle of joy! :o)

I think its totally possible, I know that I started feeling something very early in my pregnancy. If this is not your first pregnancy it is more than likely you are feeling the first movements.
