Maybelline works best for me....moist, lots of colors to chose from. Maybe you should get several colors if you dye your hair sometimes. I've got Longs store here where I live. And if you don't like the color on your lips then you can return the lipstick. They also usually have samples you can try.....apply some to the top of your hand and you can see which looks best with your skin tone. I was lucky to find a few colors, in Maybelline, that look good on and also goes with almost any color of clothing.

I love Chanel, Dior and Lancome best, as for color, I think you might have to try that yourself, with fair to olive complexion, you're lucky, I'm sure there're quite a few colors/shades that'd suit you. I think also your outfits count as well, also I wear different shade between day time and night time.

try the maybelline moisture rich range, its like gloss and lipstick in one little tube for great longlasting shine and colour. i use the shade watermelon n it looks great! i got lots of compliment from it so i reccomend u try it too.
