I'm looking for an ultraportable laptop, below 12", widescreen, along the lines of the Vaio TX series for example and I'm looking at that the most. I know of course these laptops come at a price premium and am wondering where would be the best places to get one as cheap as possible? Maybe like wholesale, liquidation, I dunno. Wouldn't mind buying an older model by the way. I'd like to pay only by credit card or credit card by Paypal for protection. I live in Houston, TX by the way so if you have one for sale, you can also email me, thanks!

I'm really looking for a laptop with a 10.6" but REALLY PERFERABLY 11.1" screen, like the Asus S6F, Vaio TX, etc. Not looking at the really small and outdated Vaio Picturebooks for instance, just the recent Vaio TX series, Asus S6F, etc.

I have plenty of money to buy one easily from the store but if I can score one for cheaper, that would be great.

try ebay!

I have a Sony Vaio picturebook http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-Vaio-PCG-C1VPK-Picturebook-Laptop-Notebook-C1VP_W0QQitemZ330097258725QQcategoryZ140084QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item330097258725 which I simply ADORE for being "on the go". Only problem it doesn't have an external CDROM, which can be a pain at times... but it fits IN MY PURSE. :D

http://www.techagain.com/ On left under Laptops, click Scratch & Dent. Scroll to the IBM iSeries. Now the one I got has a thumb print on the LCD. But, it been a very good computer. Figure the Battery being trash. May need a power cord, mine had that. I think it 6 GB, 500 MHz Celeron maybe 64/128 MB RAM? I know I found RAM around and have about 196 MB. It 256 MB RAM max. But, as far as a web surfer it great! Got a 140 GB External HDD @ Wol-Wort for $50 when the new 160 GB came in. Ordered me some new Erasers from IBM and good to go. It sleeping now. We know how the Elderly are and I on my Desktop with Linux. The IBM my Love and she took a big Win2000 Pro FULL install like a good woman.
They have had these a while, may try to call or email and see if they take $175 or at least give you free shipping.
BUT, remember, when you buy used, you get what you get. OK?
